His name is Sabil, the only child in the family, he lives in Cilacap district where most populations work as fishermen. His fathers earning is the main source of income, its only around US$80.00, which is low and less than the minimum wage for the province. The weather there is pretty extreme, with breeze sea winds at night and very hot and dry on day. Their living situation is also less than ideal, the areas lacking private dwellings and clean water, its important to consider the potential health risks that may occur if the conditions persist. Despite his condition, he is more than ecstatic to learn in preschool and be around his friends with dreams for a better future one day. The ChildFund program strives to help these families with adequate care, education, child protection, and most importantly protect his rights as a child.
