Claiton is a strong little boy who lives in the southeastern part of Mozambique with his grandmother, three aunts and his brother. He is not living with his parents because they are separated. His grandmother and two aunts are farmers and they live from agriculture. They consume part of their production and sell the other part so that they can buy other types of food, like fish and rice, school material and clothes. Claiton and family live in a small thatced house, which is very far from school so he has to walk very long distances to get there. Claiton is in grade three and his favorite subject is Portuguese. In the future, he would like to become a police officer and protect people in danger. On his free time, he likes to play with toy cars and help his family with the housework. The family of Claiton believes that with the help from ChildFund Claiton will have a great future.
