Davi is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his mother, Jennifer; grandmother, Francisca, and with two uncles and one cousin, on the outskirts of a municipality located in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is lent to them, has brick walls, rough cement flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. The father has never provided any financial assistance whatsoever and his whereabouts is unknown. Jennifer works as a cashier and the family receives a very small family allowance from the federal government. Davi is cheerful and playful. He helps his mom by putting his toys away. He likes playing with toy cars in the company of other kids his age. He has a dog he is fond of. Davi is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. He is still too young to attend school. The family is needy and through your support Davi and his family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
