Mary Teresa is a humble and social girl who comes from North Eastern part of Uganda, living with her parents and siblings. She attends school at the kindergarten and likes running around their house and singing local songs. They sleep in a grass thatched hut made of wattle and straw thatched roof. The family purely depends on cultivating maize, beans, millet and cassava every planting season as a source of livelihood. Some of the farm proceeds are kept for home consumption while little is sold to get some income to meet the family basic needs. However, due to poor yields as a result of changes in weather conditions, part of the farm produce sold is not adequate to cater for basic needs like clothing, medical care, good shelter and education for the children. Your kind support to Mary Teresa will enable her achieve all that life has in store for her.
