Melvin is a jovial young girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana. She lives with her mother, father, two brothers and one sister. They live in palm thatched mud hut in a communal land. the family fetch their water from a community hand pump whose water is saline and in scarce. The family depends on casual labour done by the mother as the main economic activity.  However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support family basic needs. For this reason, her mother  decided to approach the office seeking for further assistance. Melvin is not enrolled in school because he has not attained school going age.  Her parents would like her to become a teacher when she grows up. At home, Melvin has not been assigned any household chores since he is still young. Your support will bring a lasting change to her life.
