Shemy -is a humble girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She is raised by her mother and father. The family lives in a palm thatched house while wall is mud smeared and they live in a communal land. They fetch water from a river which is saline and not clean for human consumption and thus Pre disposing the child to waterborne diseases. Her father is the breadwinner of the family who practices charcoal burning and selling activity. Her mother practices small scale farming as a livelihood supplementation activity. However, the annual income generated from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to meet the family’s basic needs. Her mother therefore decided to approach the office seeking assistance. Shemy is not enrolled in school since she has not attained school going age. She enjoys playing with shakers. Her mother would like her to become an engineer when she grows up. She is not assigned any home chores because she is still young. Your support will greatly change her life.
