Safi lives with her biological parents in a village called Souleymania located in the community of Dabolakoro where access is very difficult, no electricity or drinking water. They are farmers and breeders, these activities are their main source of income. They live in huts made of banko and eat two meals a day during all seasons. With only $340 USD of income that the father generates each year, they struggle to improve their living conditions. Safi is an adorable little girl who goes to school, in good health, with no disabilities. Likes to play castle with her friends, sleeps with her biological parents in a local bed under an old mosquito net. Wishes through help to improve her living conditions, health, and have a better future.
