Jovia is a friendly young girl who lives with her Parents and siblings in the Eastern region of Uganda at the slopes of Mount Elgon. Jovia and her family live in a metal roofed house with walls made of mud and packed dirt floor. Jovia enjoys playing dodge ball with her friends which make her so happy. She also likes playing with toys. Jovia likes to eat Rice and chicken. However, the income status of her parents is so low, they live far below the poverty line which may hinder her from achieving her future aspirations. The family majorly practices small scale farming which serves for both food and income generation which is inadequate to meet all the basic needs of the household members. Her education is at stake and also the housing conditions are not favorable. She is sickly because of the low immunity and the treatment she usually gets is inadequate. This has prompted us to ask for your kind support which we believe will cause a change of story in the life of Jovia.
