Brinton is the middle child in their family. He lives with his parents and siblings in their village home in the Eastern part of Uganda. Brinton likes playing ball games and dancing whenever music is played. The father of Brinton is a casual worker at a factory in town. His mother practices subsistence farming for home consumption. The household income is approximately 21 US dollars a month but it is not enough to cater for decent medication, feeding and school requirements for children. The land they own is rocky prone to harsh weather conditions which affect crop yield. There is food insecurity and low food intake leaves Brinton and family exposed to health risks that may affect their active participation in productive activities. Brinton is likely to develop bad character that may not allow him to socialize with fellow children because he will feel unfit to be with them. Considering Brinton for sponsorship will enable him participate and benefit from program that will improve on their income.
