Sylvia is a humble child. She has started her education journey at the kindergarten. She loves drawing and colouring but her parents cannot afford the crayon, so most times Sylvia uses the leaves and flowers for colouring. Sylvia and family live in North Eastern part of Uganda. The family practices subsistence farming which is their only means of livelihood. They engage in cultivating corn, groundnuts, millet and beans. Unfortunately, the yield is often low and cannot provide the family with sufficient income to acquire all their basic needs. The whole family shares a single mud and wattle grass thatched hut with a packed dirt floor. The small house works as a bedroom as well as a store for all household items. Sylvia and her sibling sleep on locally made mat on the floor. She likes playing with her sister. She is generally a healthy child. With your kind contribution through sponsorship, her future and life will definitely shine.
