The lives of many children in Bolivia are governed by poverty and lack of educational opportunities. The life of Vayholet is no exception. She is a joyful, lively and playful girl. She grows up in La Paz, a city known for its high altitude, cold climate, bustling streets, and heavy traffic. She has much fun playing with building blocks. She is a spirited and energetic child, always eager to explore her surroundings and learn new things. She attends a local school, where she enjoys her Spanish lessons. She lives with her mother and brother in a rudimentary dwelling consisting of adobe walls and corrugated iron sheets on the roof. They still lack proper sanitation services. Her mother, the sole provider, earns a living as from informal trade. The family income is around US $ 173.00 per month, which is not enough to pay the basics. Like many children in this country, she needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions and education opportunities.
