His parents do small-scale agriculture with little harvest due to small piece of land, which is not fertile. His parents always do casual labour to provide for the family needs but this is still not enough because the family can still eat only one meal a day to ensure that some foodstuff remains to take them through to the next harvest. He is not yet enrolled in school because he is still young but his parents worry that he may not be able to attain the best education that they have always wished for him.
