Jovan is a polite and calm boy, staying with both parents and three siblings in North Eastern Uganda. He has not yet started his education journey due to his tender age and worsened by the far distance of the kindergarten from his community. The parents solely depend on subsistence farming for survival through cultivating maize, beans, groundnuts and vegetables. The yield is low due to poor farming methods used. Much of what the family produces are consumed at home and any surplus is sold to get some income. During some hard months of the year, the family resorts to having one major daily meal until the new harvest. Averagely, the family survives on less than US 10 dollars monthly. They stay in a grass thatched hut made of mud walls and wattle. Despite all the challenges, his general health is good. Your kind sponsorship will be a blessing to this youngster.
