Jean is needy child who lives in one of the remote villages in Shibuyunji district of Zambia. The family lives in small houses made of mud bricks and grass thatched roofs without electricity and proper ventilation. The family depends on rain-fed subsistence farming were the grow maize and cotton.  With effects of climate change the family does not produce harvest enough to meet all the basic needs of the family such education, health and good nutrition. They seek support in order to meet these basic needs for Jean. Jean is an intelligent and cheerful girl who enjoys playing with dolls. She not yet in school.
