Kaiden is a young Hispanic boy who lives with his family in the lower Rio Grande Valley in southern Texas on the US-Mexico border. Kaiden is in good health. Through your support, he will be able to participate in a program that promotes love of reading, increases access to culturally appropriate bilingual books and engages parents in reading to children. For many children in the Valley, the books they receive are often the first books they have ever owned. He will also be able to participate in theme based fun-filled interactive activities that help build coping skills and resilience. He is attending school and the best part about being at school is being able to learn new things everyday. He likes to read and watch Sonic the Hedgehog.
