Miracle lives with his parents and brother in Chitemalesa a small farming community situated east of Lusaka. He is a cheerful boy and loves playing with toys. He is not yet in school due to age. Miracle’s family depend on subsistence farming for their livelihood. They grow maize which is a staple food crop. Their annual income is about US$400 which is less than the international poverty level of $2.15 per person, per day. Their income is inadequate to meet their daily basic needs. They are unable to buy basic commodities such as cooking oil which costs US$2.10. They live in a two roomed house that lacks basic services such as water and sanitation. The family draws water for home use at a communal borehole which is about 1 kilometre from their home. Your sponsorship will help to improve the lives of Miracle and his family.
