Rehema is a confident young boy living in central Uganda with her grandmother after her parents abandoning her with the grandmother and they are staying elsewhere. They stay in a single roomed house made of muddy walls, thatched roofs and packed dirt floor. Rehema enjoys playing net ball and jumping ropes with her friends and siblings. She misses classes because she lacks school requirements since she lives with an old grandmother, she is unable to provide her with basic needs like clothes and food so they eat one meal per day and sometimes take dry tea which is not healthy to her life. They grow crops like beans but because her grandmother is aged and lacks limited support and limited capital, she ends up getting low yields which is insufficient to cater for her family and is able to earn a monthly income of US 16 dollars which is too small to cater for all the basic needs of Rehema.
