Senula is a little boy who loves to make play houses, ride bicycles and play hide and seek. He does not attend a school as yet, but he loves to help his mother to sweep the house. Senula lives with his parents in a pleasant village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. The family lives in their own house which has been partially built with cement blocks. Their floor is cemented and the roof is covered with asbestos sheets. They have access to electricity to light up their little house, proper sanitary facilities, and use pipe borne water for their needs. His father works as a Cultivator and struggles very hard to earn a living for them. He earns an annual income of around USD520/-. Senula’s mother is a house wife and tries to manage their expenses with their small income, which is hardly sufficient to meet the needs of their family and to provide nutritious meals to their child. Help received from a kind sponsor will be a great relief for Senula and his family and will also be a great help to Senula to attend to his education successfully in the future.
