Robert is a jolly, active boy, born in a remote farming village in North Eastern Uganda where he lives with both parents and siblings. Often, he plays with siblings and friends with locally made toys because his parents cannot afford to buy him playing toys. He enjoys rolling old bicycle tyres with his friends and siblings. His family is poor, living on a small piece of land and cultivating part of it for food and income. The family average income per month is less than US 10 dollars. The income is not adequate to provide basic needs for the family like clothing, education, good nutrition, and health. On many occasions when Robert or any family member falls sick, they use local herbs even without taking tests to know what one could be suffering from.
