Nehara Sandamini is a little girl living in Monaragala District, Sri Lanka, with her parents and two sisters. Although she is too small to attend school, Neharas family faces daily struggles to meet their basic needs. Her father works as a full-time farmer, while her mother is a homemaker, managing the household. With an annual income of just $800, they find it difficult to provide three meals a day, healthy food, and afford their childrens education. The family lives in their own home, but it remains incomplete. The house has cement walls, a cement floor, and an asbestos sheet roof. While they are fortunate to have tap water, a toilet, and electricity, the family still faces challenges in making ends meet. Despite these hardships, Neharas parents are dedicated to giving their children a better future. They hope for a generous sponsor who can help improve their living conditions and ensure that Nehara and her sisters can receive the education they deserve. The family’s resilience and hope for a brighter future keep them going.
