James is a polite boy born in a remote drought stricken and waterlogged village in North Eastern Uganda. James stays with both parents and siblings. He has not yet started his education due to his age and far kindergartens from their home. His favourite pastime is playing in water and sand. His family owns one small piece of land which they cultivate season after season for survival. They also keep some few domestic animals. On average, the family earns less than US 15 dollars per month. This income is not adequate to provide basic needs for James and his siblings. James is generally a healthy child.
