Senula is a cute little boy who resides in the southeastern region of Sri Lanka with his parents, brother and sister in a rural village. They live in an unfinished house with a clay floor and clay tiles for roof. Senula’s family have the convenience of accessing clean water from their protected well, electricity, and they also possess a private water-sealed toilet. However, the family find it hard to get by as his father works as a seasonal farmer, while his mother takes care of their household duties. The rising cost of living has made it increasingly challenging to make ends meet with their modest income. Senula s greatest joy in life is playing with his friends. By sponsoring him, we have the opportunity to create a brighter future for Senula, filled with possibilities for him to flourish and achieve his full potential, as well as bring a ray of hope to his entire family.
