Their yearly income is about $430 USD from farming which is their main source of revenue but this cannot meet the vital needs of the family including children school charges. They manage to prepare two small meals a day as the head of the family earning is very low. Due to his young age, the little boy is not yet enrolled to the village ECD. He likes kicking balls with the family members. He is often clean, simply dressed and sleeps with his mum on a local bed under mosquito nets.
