Rita is a social girl, enrolled in an Early Childhood Development Centre in a small village in Northern Uganda. She lives with both parents and a sister. Their housing is made of grass, mud blocks and packed dirt. Her family is humble in nature, living in a poor condition that can be seen at first sight. The house they live in is old with scanty grass on the roof and it is both their living and sleeping room. Her parents have very little land that surrounds their home and to be able to get at least something, they practice intercropping where they plant mostly food crops that they rarely sell, only if they need the most basic needs like soap, paraffin and salt. Though Ritah is in school, her frequency out of school is unspeakable she goes to school with one book that she uses for all the subjects and with no uniform and school bag. This has affected her performance in her education. She barely has clothing and has no shoes. She suffers cold in the night because of a very old bed sheet that she shares with her little sister. Your kind sponsorship will help improve her plight.
