Souadou is a little girl born in a remote village situated in Kalela community. She is growing under the care of both parents. The father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife. They dwell in a mud house lacking electricity and clean water. The family annual income is around $330 USD which is not enough to feed, clothe and educate the children in the family. With this little income they only share two little meals daily. The family survives by cultivating local crops including rice, fonio, cassava and groundnut.Souadou is a smart little child who likes to play Lampan with her friends in the yard. Presently the child is in good health and often sleeps under mosquito net provided by ChildFund. A helping hand from a kind sponsor will surely give new hope to the child for better future.
