Marco is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his mother, Tania, in a small community in the state of Ceara. Their simple home has brick walls, rough cement floors and a clay-tiled roof. It is rented and has a tiny bathroom. Tania does not receive any type of financial support from the father of her small child. The family receives a very small family allowance from the federal government, which is far from enough to meet basic needs. Marco is lively and talkative. He likes playing with balls and toy cars in the company of other kids his age. He is fond of animals, especially dogs and cats. Marco is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. He attends nursery school and loves painting and coloring. Through your support Marco and his family will have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, education and nutrition.
