Wevesson is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his parents, Jose and Francisca, on the outskirts of a small town located in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is lent to them, has brick walls, rough cement flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Water is carried from a well. Jose works as a day laborer in agriculture when available and his low income is far from enough to meet basic needs. Wevesson is active, communicative and cheerful. He likes playing with toy cars in the company of other kids his age. Wevesson is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. He is still too young to attend school. The family is needy and through your support Wevesson and his family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation, education and nutrition.
