Hendry is a humble young boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. He is raised by both parents and lives together with his two brothers and two sisters. They live in a palm thatched mud house in their communal land. The family draws their water in a community bore hole whose water is saline hence not safe for child consumption. His mother is the primary caregiver of the family who depends on charcoal burning and selling activity. His father practices herding as an income supplementation activity. However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is below 360US dollars which is not enough to sustain the family. His mother therefore decided to approach the office seeking for assistance. Hendry is not enrolled in school since he has not attained school going age. He likes playing with improvised toy cars with his friends. Since he is still young, Hendry has not been assigned any house chores. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life.
