Meet Paulina. She belongs to a needy family. The father is a mason helper who earns approximately $8 USD per day. The mother takes care of the children at home. Paulina has one brother. This low income seriously puts the welfare of the children at risk. Paulina speaks Mazahua and Spanish. Shes not going to school yet. This family lives in a house which is not connected to the sewer system. They dont have a stove nor a refrigerator. Paulinas diet is based on tortillas, beans, vegetable soup, mushrooms, some wild green edibles, lentils, tea and bread. Despite adversity, shes thriving and weighs 18 kg and shes 1.09 m tall. Paulina enjoys the Holy Week attending mass and watching the processions. With your kind support, Paulina will be able to attend workshops to start her education. Shell discover and develop her skills while playing with other kids. This certainly will prepare her better for the school days to come. Education is the key to success.
