Jennifer is a charming girl from Turkana County in Northern part of Kenya. She lives with her parents, one sister and three brothers in a palm-thatched house in thier communal land. The father keeps goats for meat production. They also depend on broom business as a source of income, which her mother makes on a daily basis. She also supplements the income from the sale of firewood. However, the family’s annual income generated from these economic activities is below US$360 and it is not enough to cater for the family’s basic needs. As a result, her parents approached the office seek support. Jennifer is enrolled in a nearby school and she likes counting, coloring and singing games. Her favorite game is hide and seek and she plays with her friends. Jeniffer is not assigned any house chores because she is still young. Your support will bring a lasting change to the life of this child and her entire family.
