I introduce to you Lawrence who is as well-known as Kalvin by friends and home people. He is so talented in making toy cars out of plastic bottles and likes playing football. Lawrence stays with his single mother and five siblings in slummy Central parts of Uganda. The father was part of the family but disappeared to unknown place and the mother operates a food stall which earns her US Less than 40 dollars. This is so inadequate to cater for all the basic needs of five children. They take one meal a day which is fairly prepared and children stand high chances of getting malnourished. The family rents a single fair room made of rough cemented floor and wooden roofing which leak during rainy season and gives them cold cover. The children share torn mattress which they lay on ground in the night and just put their upper parts and squeeze themselves which gives them uncomfortable sleep and highly acquire infections and diseases such as cough, flue, ring warms among others and makes the family spend a lot on medication.
