Julius lives with his grandmother and siblings in a small hard to reach community north of Sierra Leone. They dwell in an old mud house roofed with zinc with other family members. His father stay in another community engaged in commercial bike riding, while his mother is in the capital city doing street trading. Julius, like other children helps in domestic works at home including cleaning and fetching of drinking water for his grandmother. He likes playing football and riding of old bicycle wheels. He also likes the making of local toy cars with local materials with his friends. His grandmother main source of income is farming growing crops for consumption and sometimes sells when the harvest is good. She earned very low income to help take care of the home. Julius attends the primary school. His best subject is social studies. He is in good health and enjoys the love of his grandmother. He is determining to educate and become a doctor.
