Tatiana is a happy and friendly young girl who lives with her mother in a remote village in Eastern Uganda. Her father and mother separated and this was due to the failure of his father to provide for the family. They grow crops like maize, corn, and sweet potatoes on a small piece of land for home consumption. The mother of Tatiana offers labour to clean a health facility in their village. They earn up to 25 US dollars which is not enough to take care of the entire family since the mother is the breadwinner. Tatiana is meant to start early-grade learning but since the only community Early Childhood center is 5 kilometers from home. This makes it hard for her to enroll in school because she cannot trek the long journey daily. However, when you interact with her, she can count 1 up to 5 in her local language. Your kind sponsorship will enable her to enroll in school and she will live a more deserving life.
