Margaret lives with her parents in the far north of Sierra Leone and in a small village that is deprived of safe drinking water. She has three brothers and one sister. Margaret walks 2km to attend school and 2km back home. The family lives in a mud house of two rooms that is roofed with old zinc. She sleeps with her parents on a local bed stuffed with dry grass and without proper bedding. Her mother sells vegetables on market days for sustainability with an annual income of US $ 101 that can only provide a single meal a day. She is in good health and in school.
