Paksas family is living a simple life in a small house made of bamboo and nipa shingles. It is located near the beach. Facilities like water and electricity are not available in their home. They buy water for drinking and use the well for bathing and washing. Light is connected from their neighbor and share contribution for the monthly consumption. The head of the family works as a laborer. He earns $60.00 and less a month. Their mother is a full-time homemaker. She manages her responsibilities at home and keep her family healthy by preparing nutritious food for them. The couple is blessed with healthy children and help them doing the chores. Paksa is the youngest child. She is too young to be in school. She is happy playing outside the house. Paksa loves to eat biscuits and porridge. She is starting to imitate sounds and can articulate local words such as Inah and Amah (mother and father).
