Sidia is a young girl who lives with her parents in a community located on the outskirts of Maputo city, the capital of Mozambique, in southern Africa. The region is characterized by a hot and dry weather almost all year round. Sidia and her family live in a self-built house with bare block walls, tin roof and a rough concrete floor. They have access to running water and electricity utilities, but above all, the living circumstance is one of dire poverty. She is attending elementary school and wants to contribute to society by being a teacher in the future. It turns out that although her father works as a carpenter, this girl and her family have lack of money and face many problems to get food. The family income is very low. Sidia participates in the program where she will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
