Suneide is a smart girl who lives with her mother, grandmother and aunt in a small community located in the southeastern part of Mozambique. Suneide attends primary school and her favorite subject is Math. In future, she would like to be a singer. On her spare time, she enjoys playing games with her friends. Her mother is subsistence farmer. She is hopeless because there is no rain and the soil is infertile to grow many crops. So, most of the times, the family faces starvation because it takes too long to get the harvest. They live in a self-built house with reed walls, a thatched roof and dirt floor. They use rudimentary sanitary facilities. They do not have running water. They get water from a well which is located 4 km away. They do not have electricity as well. They use primitive kerosene lamps. Suneide participates in the program where she will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
