We are introducing to you the smart Kalu who lives with his parents and four siblings in a neighborhood with lack of potable water, health service and quality education.  He is not in school. He is a healthy child. His father is a farmer and his mother is a petty trader and their minimal income, which is very low per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating better farming activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family lives in a small house made up wood and mud.  The nearby school and health center lack basic equipment and qualified professionals. In order to overcome the poverty Kalu is facing, he needs a helping hand.
