Yennie is a kind, curious and ambitious boy living with his parents and siblings in a mud brick house roofed with zinc with unfinished floors, no toilet facility. Their house also lack proper ventilation. They get their drinking and cooking water from the hand pump water well which was constructed by ChildFund in Sierra Leone. They have to walk about one kilometre to access such water. The father plants groundnuts for home consumption while the mother is a petty trader selling local foodstuffs at the local market. He is in good health despite the poor living condition of his family. He is attending in the primary school and likes playing football. He sleeps with his parents on a locally made wooden bed with a grass mattress on it. He is a shy, promising and very intelligent child who is in need of your sponsorship to enable him live a better life.
