Sylvia is a bold girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She stays with both parents togather with her brother and sister. They live in a palm thatched house with sticks in a communal land. They fetch water from a community borehole whose water is not clean thus predisposing the child to water borne dieases. Her mother is the breadwinner of the family who depends on Mat weaving activities. The family also does charcoal burnig and selling as an livelihood supplimentation project. However, the annual income generated from this activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to sustain the recurring basic needs. Her mother approached the office to seek assistance. Sylvia is not in school since she has not attained school going age. She likes playing with friends and assembling her toys. Her mother would like her to become a nurse when she grows up. Your support will bring a lasting change to her life.
