This girl is Yolvi, joyous child who lives in the eastern area of Indonesia with her family of 8 in a very simple traditional house. She is the youngest daughter of all her 6 siblings. Her father is a farmer while her mother takes care of the house and occasionally had a short time job. They often need an alternative generation of funds whenever necessary as the family income is only around US$ 40.00 per month or sometimes less, with the lack of resources the family must plant and farm their own meals. In addition, in the area where they live, many dont have bathrooms inside their house, have bad sanitation, and the source of clean water is far that they have to get from the well. To help this family provide adequate care, education, child protection and fulfill her rights as a child, we are excited to welcome her to the ChildFund program.
