Malliam is a lovely young girl coming from a family of seven members. She lives in a small trading centre in Northern Uganda. She loves playing hide and seek game with her closest friends. Her parents are small scale farmers, earning about 10 US dollars. This is inadequate to cater for her basic needs, let alone the other needs. Malliam therefore lacks basic needs like decent clothing and beddings. School fees is a challenge since her parents are unable to pay timely. The family feeds on one unbalanced diet per day.
