Akmal is a young boy whos now attending primary school with a passion for soccer and dreams to become a policeman. Living in Central Java Province. His father earns a living as a daily labor with income of merely less than US$ 70.00, while his mother is a housewife who is unskilled and cannot find any job to add to the family income. He lives with his family in a simple house made of brick walls and cemented floors, bad sanitation, and a lack of clean water for them to drink. His health condition is fair but still needs better nourishment. To help these poor families provide adequate care and education for him, we are pleased to welcome him to ChildFund program.
