Misaki is an adventurous boy, living in North Eastern Uganda with parents and five siblings. He is not attending school yet due to his tender age and distant kindergarten from his community. They sleep in grass thatched huts made of mud walls and wattle. His parents are subsistence farmers who cultivate maize, beans, millet, and cassava every planting season for livelihood. The proceeds from selling part of their produce are not adequate to cater for basic needs like clothing, medical care, good shelter, and education for the children. Sometimes the mother moves to the neighborhood to carry out some garden work and in return is paid some stipend to support in meeting some basics. The average monthly income of the family does not exceed US 17 dollars. Because Misakis parents cannot afford buying toys for him, he rolls an old bicycle tire as his car. His health and general progress are fair despite all the economic challenges the family is faced with. Your kind sponsorship shall be a blessing to this needy child and his entire family.
