Let me introduce to you Precious a jolly young girl, she is the oldest and first daughter in the family of 4 members. They live in a remote village found in mid-western part of Uganda and practice peasant farming as their source of livelihood. Most times the little yields harvested are sold in exchange of basic needs for the family like clothing, medical care and change in diet. This always leaves the family no food, surviving on one meal in a day affecting the normal growth of Precious. The family lives in a community where they travel long distances to access medical services. Most community people have resorted to use of local herbs which are unreliable and easily result in human death, this is a threat to Precious who is growing in the same community. Your great desire to support Precious will enable her to attain basic needs and medical services through participation in the organization interventions on livelihood and health.
