Maria is a humble and playful girl living in Eastern Uganda with her parents and siblings. Social and going to school. She is very playful. Maria stays with her parents and siblings in a small house, they sleep on dirty beddings and have a poorly balanced diet since they cannot afford better meals in a day this makes children look sickly and weak and develop rough skin. They sleep in one room which brings congestion in breathing at night when they are sleeping which causes airborne diseases like cough and flu and her parents cannot afford to take her to hospital when sick. Her parents are peasant farmers and have a small piece of land where they grow food for consumption and have a low source of income. They earn less than 20 US Dollars in a month, this amount caters for the family needs and taking children to school. Maria may drop out of school at an early age and get wasted if not supported. Your generosity in sponsoring her will help her achieve her future dream of becoming a teacher.
