Joseph is a who lives with his parents in a small farming settlement located near a river in the Northern interior part of Sierra Leone. They all live in a one room adobe house built with mud blocks,rough cement floor and thatched roof with no access to electricity. His father weaves baskets and sells in the local market while the mother is a retailer of charcoal. The joint income of both parents is not enough to cover their most basic needs. Joseph attends the nursery school in the community and is progressing very well especially in word building. He is in good health and likes playing balance ball in the company of peers. Joseph sleeps on a savannah grass mattress on the floor and studies with a lantern light. Your sponsorship is a great blessing to him and the entire family.
