Namisa is a smart girl who lives with her Groundmother and other siblings in Northern Sierra Leone. Her parents travel to neighbouring Guinea in search of greener pasture in a gold mining area. They dwell in a two bedroom mud bricks house with unfinished dirt floors. Her parents has been away for over five years. They usually went to the neighborhood to access toilet facilities. Her groungmother engage in petty trading to take care of them. Namisa is healthy and sleeps with her siblings on a locally made wooden bed which lacks adequate beddings. With sponsorship, this child will have the potential to complete her education and inturn help to develop her community and the country as a whole.
