They live in iron sheets roofed houses and mud walls in their small piece of land and they fetch water from the community hand pump. Her father is the breadwinner who keeps livestock and the mother depends on broom-making activity. However, the annual income derived from this combined economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support the familys needs. Her parents decided to approach the office to seek assistance. Nancy goes to a nearby school in the village and performs better in drawing and science. Moreover, she loves playing rope skipping and homemade dolls with her friends during her free time. Nancy aspires to be a pilot in the future. Which will change her life and that of the family.
