Kelvin, who is called as David by his family, lives with his parents and sister in a rural community located at the South-Central part of Honduras which provides suitable lands for the agriculture. His mother Martha does the house works and takes care of him while his father Elvis and his grandfather Mariano work very hard as farmers by growing corn and beans, but their low combined incomes of $ 75.00 per month are not enough to raise the family out poverty. They share a small one room family house which is poorly built with block walls, zinc roof and concrete floor; it has all the public services found in their location. Kelvin goes to middle school at seventh grade, he enjoys math class. Fortunately, Kelvin has no mental or physical disabilities and stays healthy most of the time. Kelvin is a very sweet, shy and nice child who enjoys painting and playing soccer.
