Morris is a polite and active young boy, born in North Eastern Uganda where he lives with his parents and sibling. He attends school at the kindergarten and his favorite subject is literacy. His family sleeps in a grass thatched hut made of mud walls and wattle. His parents are subsistence farmers who cultivate maize, beans, millet and cassava every planting season for livelihood. The proceeds from selling part of their produce are not adequate to cater for basic needs like clothing, medical care, good shelter and education for the children. The average monthly income of the family does not exceed US 10 dollars. He likes helping his mother with domestic chores. He likes playing football and rolling an old bicycle wheel with his friends. He enjoys eating millet bread, vegetables, beans and fish. His health and general progress is fair despite all the economic challenges the family is faced with. A sponsor could make a difference in this childs life and help give him a brighter future.
